Murray, published in 1981 discussing cognitivity as it relates to AI. I love reading AI articles from this era since they are still completely relevant today and do not hinge on the specifications of today's technologies (as I think much of today's theories do). Here's one of my favorite quotes from the article: Although your mind is constantly thinking and acting in the present, its existence stretches off into the past. Every thought which you think in the present, shapes your mind for the future. Your mind is the sum of all its past reality.
